Outer Banks

It’s the last day of January. I have blogging goals, but I feel like I can’t start on them until I finish my posts from 2015. It’s silly, I know. But this is more of a record for me than anything! Also, I went back to my first recap posts and I’m going to have to insert all of the photos again. I used an iCloud link instead of downloading the photos etc. etc.

Here we are! In June, I met my family in Richmond for a summer vacation to visit my brother and his family. It was my first time in a long time on the East Coast and my first time to Virginia and North Carolina. My brother served his mission in Richmond so it was a thrill to see all of the places he wrote about. We spent 5 days in Corolla on the Outer Banks- eating, surviving the heat and humidity, playing on the beach and just spending time together. We then drove to Williamsburg and stayed there for a few days. We visited all of the historic sites and went to the best restaurant twice (Food For Thought). We spent the last day in Richmond seeing some of the city and eating pizza. It was very sad to leave them, but lucky for me, I got to see a lot more of them later in the summer!

This was before I too had finished reading "The Wright Brothers" but I still geeked out while visiting the memorial.
